Leadership

The When2Pray initative is led by several individuals from a number of organisations. They have  a common heart; for marriage and for prayer. They are:

Mike Ashford and his wife Linda have been married for twenty-seven years and have two grown-up sons. Mike’s career in Marketing and PR has spanned both secular and Christian organisations and he now looks after marketing and fundraising for Crusade for World Revival.
Lynden Askew works for Family Matters York as a Relationships Educator. She helps couples preparing for marriage, becoming new parents or struggling with relationship crisis. Lynden and Rob work together in the leadership of One Accord, and also for Time For Families presenting couple relationship skills workshops in prisons, for prisoners and their partners.
Celia Bowring works as a writer and speaker alongside  Lyndon in the ministry of CARE. She writes CARE’s Prayer Guide as well as various bible study notes and articles. Her recent book for women married to Christian leaders ‘We’re in this Together’ is published by Authentic. Lyndon and Celia live in London with  two sons aged 24 and 17 and a daughter who is 22.
Mark Daniel is married to Christine and together they lead FamilyLife, which is a ministry of Agapé.  They have two teenage daughters. Mark has had careers in the Army and in the corporate world.
Andy Taylor and Brenda have been married for 35 years and have two sons and a daughter. They are both part of the Leadership Team of One Accord for whom Andy is Operations Director. Andy is a qualified accountant who has worked mainly in the charity and education sector.
